Advertising
WesternITE has two forms of advertisements available:
Position Available Advertisements and Professional Directory
Advertisements.
JOBS AVAILABLE ADVERTISEMENT
Jobs Available advertisements (ads)
cost $1.50 per word and are posted to the WesternITE website's "Jobs Available" page. There is a $100.00
minimum placement charge. Pricing is for 60 days on WesternITE jobs page. Ads must be transmitted
only via e-mail (Word format only please).
An image of your organization's logo can be included with your advertisement for an additional $50 charge. If you would like to post a job opening please e-mail Nate Larson your Word file. If you would like your logo posted, please send it as a separate file in .jpg format.
We prefer payment by credit card. Only
Visa and Mastercard are accepted at this time. Payment
can be accomplished by filling out the billing
form and FAXING it to Nate Larson at
866.495.5288, with your position advertisement Word file (you
can also call Nate Larson with this information).
Invoices must be approved prior to placement of the ad and payment is due within
30 days.
Web postings typically take one to three business days to post.
Please include a contact person and we will
email you an invoice for your approval. No advertising is posted or inserted until either the invoice is approved via e-mail or payment for the advertising is received.
Display ads are not currently available because the WesternITE newsletter is no longer printed and mailed. The online newsletter may be configured to accept display ads at a future time.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DIRECTORY
ADVERTISEMENTS
Professional Services Directory advertisements are displayed on the website (see "Professional Directory" in the menu at left) and invoiced ahead on a calendar year basis.
The rate is $200.00 for the first 7 lines (minimum charge),
and $40/year for each additional line. For example, an
8-line listing would cost $240.00 per year. Current customers
are invoiced in the fall of each calendar year for the coming
year, with payment due within 30 days. New advertisers may
send a check (pro-rated for the months in the calendar
year) with their advertisement text (in Word format) and we
will place their advertisement on the web site in 1 to 3 business days. Invoices must be paid by
January 31 or the ad will be removed from the website. For more information contact Nate

Linking of Professional Services Directory (PSD) listings is also available on the at an additional cost of $120.00 per year. This includes
display of your company's logo and a hyperlink to the company's website, as well as linking of any e-mail addresses in the ad text. PSD advertisers must
provide logo in .jpg format and have a web address to benefit from these features. Billing for
this feature is done concurrently with the annual Professional Service Directory invoicing.
WesternITE is published for nearly 4,000 transportation engineering
and planning professionals in the 13 western states encompassing
the Western District. The WesternITE web site is viewed by nearly 2,000
to 3,500 unique visitors each month, with between 50,000 to
70,000 hits per month.
DEADLINES
Both Job ads and PSD ads can be placed and modified at any time. If the change makes the ad get longer, the difference in price will be pro-rated to the time remaining for the ad and is due in 30 days. Please allow 1 to 3 business days for the ad change to take effect on the website.
