Student Night Competition
Please mark your calendars to attend the ITE Student Night on May 13th this year. This event is a great opportunity for students to network with professionals. As a part of the student night, students are encouraged to participate in the Student Competition for cash prizes.

The Student Activities Committee has selected the City of Seattle - Chelan Avenue SW/SW Spokane Street (5-way Intersection) project for the Student Competition this year. This is an important and complex location where freight, passenger vehicles, pedestrian, and bicycles riders must negotiate in West Seattle. There is a strong desire by the community and the businesses to improve the safety and efficiency for all modes though this intersection area. Students are to develop potential changes to the intersection that improve traffic operations and safety. All options are welcomed. This project also has a specific goal of ensuring that the pedestrian and bicycle connection to the Alki Trail is made safer and easier for all ages and abilities.Click here to download additional information.
