Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires States and local agencies to provide pedestrian routes that are accessible to people with disabilities. ADA curb ramps are an important component to accessing our sidewalks and pathways. This training session will provide a broad overview of the ADA, how agencies have established their compliance programs, and get into the nitty gritty details of design/construction challenges and solutions.
COST: $25 for ITE and ATSSA members, $30 for non-members, $10 for ITE young transportation engineers, FREE for students
BREAKFAST: A catered breakfast will be served including egg souffle, sausage, bacon, french toast, bread, pastries, croissants, and coffee.
RSVP to Carla Nasr by 5:00 PM Friday, December 6th. Those who register and cancel after the 6th will be charged the full amount to cover the cost of their meal.
